An inspection is most useful when it answers a question that is still unresolved. If bed bugs have already been clearly identified, discuss a treatment plan with a treatment provider. If you are unsure what you found, begin with identification.
When the insect is uncertain
A clear close-up photo or safely contained specimen can help an expert identify it. Our photograph guide shows examples from past inspections. Tell us where the insect was found and what has already been checked.
When the findings conflict
If one company recommends treatment and another finds no evidence, ask both to explain their findings and search scope. A separate K9 inspection may help investigate areas that remain in question.
When you want independent follow-up
Cimex K9 provides inspection services without selling treatment. You can contact us directly or ask your pest-control provider about using an independent canine team. Cimex K9 offers post-treatment inspections only after a complete treatment by a licensed pest-control professional, with scheduling 30–60 days after treatment. We do not perform post-treatment inspections following self-treatment. Before booking, tell us the treatment completion date, provider, methods, and products used. We must confirm eligibility and timing for your property; reaching day 30 or day 60 does not automatically make it eligible.
